‘Big Brother Canada 2’ review: Jillian, Emmett, and Peter in one episode

The latest -Wednesday night’s “Big Brother Canada 2” episode was definitely a hodgepodge of good and bad, to say the least. There were moments that were crazy, moments that were entertaining, and also moments that were a little boring.

You know that you have a boring group of footage when some of the following things happen on the show:

1. A montage further confusing people who do not know that Jon has a girlfriend back home, and and Neda don’t seem to have any romantic interest in each other at all.

2. A montage about farts.

3. Production actually having to sit there and make us listen to Sabrina and Rachelle carry on for around ten minutes.

4. More in-show product placement, this time from Alan Thicke.

Also, much of tonight’s episode was ironically tied around three people in Emmett, Jillian, and Peter, who are not even on this season of the show. The latter now co-hosts the “Side Show,” while Emmett and Jillian each did their “strategy session” with Neda, which felt more like them trolling her to get her to do a big move.

This was still a decent episode of the show, but hardly a remarkable one given that Rachelle’s eviction has been a long time coming and it seems inevitable that it will happen. As for Adel, we mostly got more evidence that he is playing a bad game, even if it is one that got him pretty far. The only real revelation that came out of this is that Neda may actually take Heather with her to the final two over Jon if given the opportunity. This proves that her head is in the game, but she’ll really need to mend fences with him if he is on the jury, since we have no doubt that he would take her. Grade: B-.
