ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: What Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion will confront in finale
The “Castle” season 6 finale on May 12 is only a matter of weeks away, and suffice it to say, you are going to have quite a bit to look forward to. Not only is there the potential for a wedding for Castle and Beckett, but also the same sort of pre-wedding disaster that seems to happen anytime that TV characters want to be able to tie the knot.
In case you’ve missed it, the finale is entitled “For Better or Worse” (a clear wedding clue itself), and the official synopsis below hints at everything from romance for Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion’s characters to also the appearance of Eddie McClintock:
“Castle and Beckett’s long-awaited wedding is almost here, but when a shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a charming ne’er-do-well from Beckett’s past (guest star Eddie McClintock as Rogan O’Leary).”
Now from our vantage point, what is particularly interesting about this synopsis is the repeated attempts to highlight the “Warehouse 13” star, which suggests to us that his role is perhaps much more important than the show is letting on. Why else would you have a “charming ne’er-do-well” show up for the finale, and a time when the Beckett character is getting set to say “I do”? It all feels a little too convenient.
As for whether or not there is a cliffhanger, options are probably open for the producers given that there is no official renewal out there yet, but we assume that they were probably confident that there would be a pickup. ABC hasn’t officially renewed anything yet, so it is not like they are just leaving “Castle” out in the dirt.
We’ll have some more news on the “Castle” finale soon, but it see specifically what is coming up next week, watch a promo for “Law & Boarder” here. Also, sign up for further TV updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.

Since I’ve been watching Castle for 6 years, I decided to do a little
detective work myself. According to IMDB, Senator Bracken appears in
Episode 22 and “Wedding guest” appears in Episode 23. Who knows, other
than the writers, what will happen — maybe Caskett won’t show up but
based on the clues, I think all will be well with some negative
carryover for September.
