‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 3 preview: See Emilia Clarke in ‘Breaker of Chains’

Breaker -Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” episode is going to fulfill many purposes, with one of them obviously being the attempt to move forward following: How in the world does King’s Landing move forward after the death of their king? We imagine that there is going to be some struggling and soul-searching going on out there as the community tries to figure some of that out.

While that is happening, though, “Breaker of Chains” is also going to continue some of the stories that we didn’t see in “The Lion and the Rose,” including Danaerys’ as she continues to march her army forward and realize what sort of challenges wait someone who wants to be a leader. You can argue that save for some bumps in the road, her journey has not been that difficult since getting out of Qarth. That will change this season for many reasons.

But can she find love with Daario 2.0? We just hope that we see something more from Michael Huisman in the role. We cannot blame him for Ed Skrein not doing the part anymore, but it is such a tough transition to have two different actors playing a part without them even really looking like each other. This Daario is a very different one than the version that was in the books, though he is rugged and seems to care quite a bit for the Mother of Dragons … who really should have other things on her mind right now beyond romance, such as trying to take back an Iron Throne that is vulnerable. As for when she finds out about the death of Joffrey, thatwill be interesting to find out.
