ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4: What we know about Olivia and Fitz, Huck and Quinn, more
Tonight, “Scandal” says farewell to season 3 with “The Price of Free and Fair Elections,” which is the sort of title that should make you shake in your boots a little. Something devastating could occur, and most of the news that is out there about this story right now suggests that something devastating probably will. This is not the “let’s be happy TV hour.”
While it’s hard to fully guess about any and all stories related to a fourth season without seeing the episode, or without an official renewal (which is probably still inevitable), there are a few things to look out for that are almost a given.
Olivia and Fitz are tied to each other – So much of the show is about the push and pull of these two characters, so don’t expect them to suddenly get together. Also, don’t expect them to be fully happy with one another either. They seem to somehow function best when surrounded by chaos.
Huck and Quinn try to figure it out – So far, their relationship has been all passion and nothing else. But what in the world happens if and when these two try a real relationship? This is something that, pending they survive the finale, we’d love to see.
What’s Harrison’s future? – Columbus Short is not in the headlines these days for the right reasons, and while we don’t want to speculate about it, this is a situation to watch out for. Few related to the show have spoken out at all since some of the trouble in his life began.
Can Cyrus move on? – We do wonder if it is possible that Jeff Perry’s character can have a future in love again and a relationship that is less volatile. We don’t expect it immediately, but this is something that would be nice to see explored in the second half of season 4.
