‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 videos: More on King Joffrey … and season 5?

While there are no enormous stories breaking today when it come to “Game of Thrones,” we nonetheless have a few individual items to report that are very much worth your time and attention. Obviously, there are big spoilers ahead for those who are not caught up on “The Lion and the Rose.”

The “best of Joffrey” video – We imagine that we must not be the only other person out there who finds it hilarious that the video of positive highlights from Joffrey’s time on the show is only 29 seconds long. Even with that, these 29 seconds have to be edited together in a way that still makes him come across as somewhat sweet.

A deeper look at the wedding scene – This is another video put out there by HBO, but it gives you some more insight into why the wedding looked the way that it did, and what it was like for some of the actors to deal with certain parts of the experience. Take a look to see what Peter Dinklage says was a risk that he was excited to explore, despite it being all kinds of uncomfortable.

A new auction – Finally, head over to this CharityBuzz page if you want to find out how you can win an opportunity to get a tour of the “Game of Thrones” set in Northern Ireland, and also spend an hour chatting up co-creator David Benioff during season 5 production later this year. All proceeds go to Epic Theatre Ensemble. Think of it as a way to experience a part of Westeros first hand (at least the part that shoots in Northern Ireland), while at the same time helping others. If you’ve got the cash to bid, it sounds like a win-win situation!
