‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Heather Morris will return as Brittany for finale
Fans for Brittany S. Pierce, be prepared to celebrate! After making to appearances on “Glee” for its two-part 100th episode celebration, she will be turning up one final time before the curtain drops on season 5.
According to a new report from E! News, Heather Morris is going to play a part in the upcoming finale airing on Fox next month, and it’s also possible that she could appear in some capacity next season. Producers for the show want to have her back for as much of the story as they can, but the one thing standing in their way here is mostly the simple issue known as whether or not Heather wants to go back to the show full-time. She is reporting enjoying her time as a mother to infant son Elijah, and has never been one particularly enamored with the fame aspect of celebrity. She doesn’t have a Twitter, and was always low-profile even when she was on “Glee” full-time.
Personally, we’re all for having more of Brittany on the show, since she is such an instant source for comic relief, and she’s generally pretty constant. So while all of the other characters may be going through stuff, she is not going to be someone who changes very much. Even though we like “Glee” so much more that there are not a million people running around, there is probably room for at least one or two more characters to be included into the mix. Of those, we would have Brittany and maybe Tina at the top of the list.
