ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ episode 7 preview: First look at ‘Schemes of the Devil’

Over the first six episodes, we started to think that it was possible that “Resurrection” really could tie together its storyline within the span of a single season. Now that we are this far into the run, though, we’re not so sure. There is still so much that needs to happen, and only a pair of episodes to go before season 1 comes to a close.

Next week’s episode is entitled “Schemes of the Devil,” and before we do anything else, you should check out the full synopsis below:

“With the help of Bellamy and Sheriff Fred, Tom leads the charge in the search for Rachael, but her situation becomes increasingly dire as her captors grow more desperate. Maggie and Dr. Ward continue their medical research on the resurrected subjects and a series of shocking discoveries sets them on the brink of a game changing find, however, their focus shifts when Arcadia is suddenly in the throes of an epidemic.”

By the end of the show’s first season, the potential was going to be such that we could see stunners across the board in between multiple returnees, the threat of violence, and thens some. That “game-changing find” may be what ultimately turns things around, and gets us a little bit closer to the end that so many are looking forward to … or at least the end of the season. Given the show’s recent ratings, it is successful enough that they could order another season, keep it the same format, and it will probably do very well. We’ll have more on that soon.
