MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4 spoilers: A new scoop for Jenna / Matty fans

The latest -In just a few short days from now, “Awkward” season 4 will be on MTV! This means that the time for waiting will be over, and we can get around to actually judging whether or not the show suffers without its original creator Lauren Iungerich on board.

Luckily, this show still has its four core characters in Jenna, Matty, Tamara, and Jake to play around with, and this photo, while from season 3, could still apply in some ways. The couple to the right has figured things out much more than the couple to the left. While Matty and Jenna are “friends with benefits” early in this season, they’re not exactly together … and they may never be. It all comes down to the decisions they make going forward.

Anyway, what we are here to share now are some early details regarding the second episode of season 4, which carries with it the title of “Listen to This.” It’s not exactly the most revealing title in the world, but it is something that in theory could be a number of interesting things. Is there a secret message being decoded? That may sound like an edition of “The Hardy Boys” (probably not the right reference for this demo), but it’d still be fun.

Luckily for you, there’s no reason to theorize at all. Per the synopsis on SpoilerTV, this story is going to be mostly about Jake’s performing skills.

“Jenna tries to communicate with a distant Matty; Tamara questions Jake’s talent for music.”

The irony with this title comes mostly in that we know the actors on this show have quite a few musical talents. There’s even a recap video out there showing them off.

What do you think about this title, and is there anything in particular that you’re looking forward to seeing in this episode?
