‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 spoilers: Jeff Davis teases return of Jill Wagner’s Kate Argent
You know that Kate Argent coming back to “Teen Wolf” is going to be pretty bad news for everyone who fights for the good team. She was dangerous the first time around, so with that in mind, you have to think that she’s been stewing / gaining some sort of bizarre new power during her time away.
So while this is going to be pretty horrible for Scott, Derek, and the rest of the guys in Beacon Hills, there are two people who have quite a lot to be excited about here: Jill Wagner (who has has spent more of her time this winter hosting the “Wolf Watch” aftershow), and showrunner Jeff Davis. Of course, he is hesitant to give away too much of the good stuff about whether Kate is a were-jaguar now or something else entirely, but he did share the following short tease in a new interview with E! News:
“She’s…well, I guess I should let it stay secret. I won’t tell you! [Laughs.] But she’s specific and there’s a reason for it. We are really excited about Kate. We’re excited about making her a really powerful villain, about her relationships with both Argent and Derek, and now what she does now that both she and Peter are resurrected.”
Will there be more villains out there in addition to Kate and Peter? It’s pretty likely, given that this show does like to come at your in all directions. But we are down for having more of a female Big Bad, given that it does break a little bit of the traditional TV mold that shows fronted by male characters typically only face off against male villains. We’ve already had that recently in Deucalion.
“Teen Wolf” season premieres on MTV in June, so we will have some more news on share on that subject soon. For now, let us know your theories on Kate below, and you can also visit the link here to get more news on the shocking departure of someone other than Crystal Reed from the show.
