‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Lisbon’s new love interest arrives
Next week on “The Mentalist,” the story is moving forward from being about Rigsby and Van Pelt to a couple that has been “will they or won’t they” for years: Jane and Lisbon. Unfortunately for you, there is probably not going to be the sort of quick-fix solution to this problem that you would be hoping for.
Instead, next week’s “Violets” introduces Pedro Pascal (“Game of Thrones“) as Agent Pike, a handsome man who Lisbon is going to be drawn to not long after the story begins. Could this cause some jealousy, or be a distraction from the case? We’ll just have to see how this all plans out, but for now, take a look at our full synopsis for the episode below:
“Jane enlists his colleagues in a dangerous sting operation to catch a deadly team of art thieves. Meanwhile, sparks fly between Lisbon and an agent from the FBI’s art squad.”
While we understand there being some mixed emotions at the thought of a new man coming in and clouding up the picture, there is at least thing when it comes to a silver lining in it all: Watching Jane and Lisbon spend so much time together in the first place. This may feel like a very old-school episode of “The Mentalist,” which we have not really had since before the Red John case started to pick up steam earlier on in the season.

ok… that is a bit extreme.I think they should stick to the genre of the show which is…wait for it…crime. wow, surprised you there didnt I?
I mean seriosly this show is not a romantic comedy and if you think the writers are stupid because they arent writing the romantic parts very well…ive got news for you this isnt the vampire diaries and the writers are paid to write good crime scripts, and i daresay the red john idea was the best idea by far in the crime shows so you decide:are the writers truly stupid? anyway i love seeing lisbon in a dress so im really looking forward to this weeks ep :)
