‘Big Brother Canada 2’ live feed spoilers: We rank the ‘Buzzworthy’ videos
You have until 11:00 p.m. Eastern tonight in order to vote for your favorite “Big Brother Canada 2” houseguest in this new buzzworthy twist. What is this? If you haven’t been online today, you want to tweet using the hashtag #BBCAN + your favorite player. For example, #BBCANRachelle or #BBCANPaul. The winner gets a prize outside the game, and also a power to use within it. Slice has put out all of the videos now that the houseguests have shot on Instagram, and we have taken it upon ourselves to try to rank each and every one on one simple criteria: Which ones are the most creative, funny, or effective?
Note first of all that we are not saying that these are our own personal preferences at all, or who we think needs the help of the twist; instead, this is just based on how much effort and entertainment the houseguests put into this.
13. Paul – We’re not sure what Paul is trying to do here. Rather than being funny, this comes across as some uncomfortable, awkward Gary impression. Pass.
12. Sarah – She made no real attempt whatsoever at even trying to campaign, and mostly used her video as a shout-out to her family. Sweet, but not entirely creative.
11. Heather – This to us feels like a missed opportunity. Heather has been getting a ton of sympathy from Canada over being on the block and mistreated by some of the other women; but then you go and promise mischief without delivering? Total bummer. (In case you’re wondering, Heather hurt herself in the Veto.)
10. Allison – What is she even trying to do here? Allison has disappointed so many voters the past 24 hours that you would think she was a political candidate.
9. Sabrina – Interesting Kim Kardashian impersonation without saying that you are Kim Kardashian … or sounding like Kim Kardashian … or doing anything that has to do with Kim Kardashian.
8. Andrew – It’s somewhat ironic that typically, it is the women who tend to strip down in competitions for votes … but Andrew and Kenny are the big offenders here. Did we really need to see this? It also feels like he’s doing a bad impression of something … but we appreciate the effort.
7. Ika – Why is everyone so intent on twerking in these videos? At least Ika had a consistent character and stuck with it, but there’s not really anything in here that is memorable.
6. Kenny – Someone is going to need to make a grocery run for the houseguests once Kenny is through with all of these cooking products. Like with Andrew, though, taking off too many clothes can have an adverse effect. A little much.
5. Rachelle – Mass applause for the commitment that was behind the visual style here, and was just one line from being perfect. She shouldn’t have said “I love you” at the end, since it takes you completely out of the character.
4. Adel – Probably the best for unintentional comedy, mostly because we really enjoyed Adel almost forgetting his own name, calling himself “3Chainz,” and then saying that he was “running the house” when he really has no clue at all.
3. Neda – Basically, this is like Rachelle’s but with an evil robot and extra commitment. This seems like a character in a post-apocalyptic video game.
2. Jon – Usually, we grown at the whole “guy in drag” bit unless you are a legitimate drag performer. But we give Jon more credit since he was the last guy we expected to go for this. Terrible Miley Cyrus impression if that’s what he is going for, but still, a nice attempt at humor.
1. Arlie – Anyone who is willing to wax their chest for the good of their spot in their game deserves love. Arlie looks absolutely horrendous with his hair like that, but we have to give him credit.
