‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: First look at ‘New Orleans’ backdoor pilot
Have you been eagerly awaiting what exactly “NCIS” season 11 has in store for us when it comes to this “New Orleans” spin-off? Well, we now have some of the first official details on that very subject! The first part of “Crescent City” airs on March 25, and this story is going to feature the team working with another field office in the Big Easy, and trying to determine who was responsible for killing a man who many in the NCIS world had some sort of past connection to.
Without wasting any more time, take a look t the full synopsis below:
“When the body of Congressman Dan McLane, a former NCIS agent, washes ashore in New Orleans, Gibbs reunites with his former colleague, NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride, in a joint case between the two field offices and the FBI. The teams must work together to determine if the murder was politically based or linked to McLane’s most well-known case, the arrest of the Privileged Killer, a serial murderer who targeted military and public servants, on part one of a two-part episode of NCIS, Tuesday, March 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Scott Bakula guest stars as Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Price; Lucas Black guest stars as Special Agent Christopher Lasalle; Zoe McLellan guest stars as NCIS Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody; and CCH Pounder guest stars as Jefferson Parish Coroner Doctor Loretta Wade.”
All of the guest stars mentioned above will be series regulars on the New Orleans show in the event that it is picked up to series. We will know the answer to that come May, but this is not exactly going to be an easy challenge for the show. Why? In a recent speech, Les Moonves of CBS made it clear that they are only picking up two new dramas and two new comedies for the fall thanks to the recent NFL acquisition on Thursday nights. That means that executives are really going to have to be confident with what they see here.
Obviously, we’ll have more on this episode before it airs, but for now, click here to watch a promo for the new installment airing on Tuesday night. You can also sign up if you want to get further updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.

I don´t think it will work…NCIS New Orleans looks like a NCIS clone, NCIS”B” It brings nothing new to the table. And GG is in charge.
