‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 17 preview: Jimmy’s baby preparation; Tony’s ‘threat’
There was no new episode of “NCIS” season 11 on CBS tonight, and we understand that such a thing is very sad news, indeed. However, how about this to cheer you up? The first promo for next week’s go-around!
“Rock and a Hard Place” ultimately just feels like an hour of TV that is going to specialize in being fun first and foremost, and will deal with just about everything else later. In the end, we’re okay with that given just how long that it has been since we had a new episode that brought in something quite like this. You have a aging rocker played by Keith Carradine, and a mission for Tony that cannot really be counted as one of his most memorable over the course of his time with the NCIS team. Basically, he is being told that above all else, his job is to just watch and babysit this guy to make sure that there are no problems.
On a different note, how about a big story for Jimmy Palmer as he prepares for fatherhood? Given that there have been times this season where it is easy to forget that Jimmy even exists, we’re thrilled to see him have an integral role in a plotline. Also, we expect some nice “aww” moments watching the other members of the team start to rally behind him as he ensures that he is the best father humanly possible. We don’t have any worries about his ability at all.

Maybe Bishop is a Midwife and she is going to help with the birth of Jimmy child.

OMG…how many ‘old Rocker’ storylines can they come up with ?
Someone on that Staff is a hippie or a goof .. whatever !
“Lame” is a perfect word for this.
And Palmer – his ‘schtick’ of being a goof was funny in the beginning, but now that a child is involved..not so much
So – Tony’s Apartment once again – ummmm meh !!

According to GG it has to be Organic feel to it before Tony can phone Ziva, I have no idea what GG means by that.

Please. I hate the Bishop character. But the bring back Ziva thing is getting very tired.

Glad to see Jimmy back! and thank goodness someone on this show is allowed to have a normal life. The rest of it looks kinda lame. Tony certainly has had a lot of practice babysitting Bishop all season, so I guess that’s his job now.
