‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: More on Anna Camp, Sarah Newlin’s story
Sarah Newlin has become a valuable part of the “True Blood” universe, even if she has not been a part of the show for every season. you could argue that she was even the Big Bad of season 6, and based on what we know now, her story is not exactly over yet.
Over the weekend, we reported that the show is going to be introducing more of her family this time around than in the past … including her gothic, angry sister by the name of Amber Crabtree. So how about another update to add to this tapestry? According to a new report from E! News, Sarah’s mother will be named Nancy and her father will be named Paul. Neither one of these characters is going to have a substantial role in the story, but what we know about the Paul one in particular is that he is going to be someone who reminds many of Dr. Phil McGraw. We imagine that trying to get Sarah to talk about her feelings could be pretty interesting, indeed.
“True Blood” season 7 still does not have a return date, and the reality is that it is still unclear just what sort of a role Sarah is going to have in the larger story. The only thing that can be assumed is that many of the characters will need some sort of adversary to square off against, and while we understand that the infected vampires are dangerous, that is not exactly a tangible enemy to get excited about.
