‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: A shocking tease for Patrick Dempsey’s Derek

Just when you think that “Grey’s Anatomy” has touched on just about every shocking story that they possibly can, something like this comes up and finds a way to surprise us yet again. This is a story that, to be frank, we never saw coming.

According to a new report from TVLine, there is going to be some drama that unravels for the character of Patrick Demsey’s Derek, and it revolves around a question of whether or not there could be a child out there of his that we have never met or known about before. This is the sort of thing that can easily create some tension between him and Meredith if it is true, but this may not be Derek’s fault at all. After all, how was he supposed to know that there was a love child out there if nobody ever told him?

This bit of drama is going to add to what could already be a potentially-dramatic series of episodes ahead for the Derek character, mostly because we know already that he is dealing with that call from the President that we saw during the finale of the fall half of the season. Add to that all of the other crazy stuff that is going to be coming up in the spring, and it is starting to feel like we have one of the more jam-packed hours on February 27 that we’ve seen in a while.
