‘Big Brother 16’ casting process underway; see Rachel, Jessie, more give ‘tips’
While we are getting prepared now for the start of “Big Brother Canada” on March 5, let’s go ahead and also present what is some good news for those of you who love the American version of the show: Casting is also underway for “Big Brother 16” this summer!
Do you want to try out to be among the latest crop of houseguests? Then the easiest way to do so is going over to the link here, save for going to an open call in the future. All you have to do on the website is enter some personal information about yourself, submit a photo, and create a short three-minute video that is apparently interesting enough for casting producers to immediately take note of you and want to put you on their show.
Obviously, the best way to get on a show like this is to be interesting right away, and to engage with the person on the other side of the video with whatever sort of personality that you have. There is not necessarily a given archetype that you have to fall into, regardless of however you read the “Big Brother” casts whenever there is a season that is actually on the air. They typically just pick a mixture of people, and while it may be harder if you are a superfan than, say, someone who was approached by casting, you still have a shot.
Now, to get you that much more excited about appearing on the show, here is a video featuring some of the best “Big Brother” players ever convincing you to try out. You can see everyone from Rachel Reilly to Daniele Donato to Mike Bookie to Amanda Zuckerman to Ian Terry to Jessie Godderz to Lawon Exum, who we are convinced still has the greatest Twitter handle of all time in @MrUNotReady.
Anyway, we hope to see you on TV sometime! We’re sure that there are going to be some who take this as evidence that there is not going to be an All-Stars this summer, but we don’t see that necessarily being true. It’s possible that casting is either just testing the waters, or giving us a season of both new and returning players.
