‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: How Clare Crawley, Juan Pablo Galavis could make amends
Are we going to see much more of Clare Crawley on “The Bachelor,” or was last week the first real indicator of some terrible things to come for her? Luckily, we are going to find out in a pretty big way courtesy of the new episode airing on Monday night.
Clare has the honor of being the first contestant on the show to receive a coveted one-on-one date on two separate occasions, which is the sort of thing that will drive the other contestants understandably crazy. Even though one-on-one dates have been spread around pretty regularly, the “Bachelor” assumption is always that the person who gets two of them first is an obvious favorite … clearly, that is Claire, even in spite of the drama that previously unfolded.
What has been mostly interesting about the past few days is that back when Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson had their secret kissing session in the ocean, most of America hated the latter for it. However, this time Juan Pablo is the one who is the target of the hate, an we feel like that is for three simple reasons:
1. There were no clothes that were taken off, and Clare was not that hung-ho about it like Courtney was.
2. There is no real history of Clare being mean to anyone else; her only problem is monopolizing Juan Pablo.
3. He suddenly turned around and decided that he hated doing it days later, when she thought it was a romantic moment and nothing else.
