ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 15 preview: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, and telekinesis
If you love “Castle,” then you are probably going to find some joy in the news that you are not going to have to wait the entirety of the Olympics to see the next new episode … though there is still a 14-day wait to get through.
The next new episode on February 17 is entitled “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” which is definitely one of the more entertaining names that an hour of TV could have; but in addition to that, we also have a case that brings out some of Castle’s more paranoid side, where he thinks that someone may have committed a murder using some sort of special powers. It sounds familiar for sure, but also incredibly awesome.
Just take a look at the full synopsis below, if you have not seen it already:
“The murder of a high school mean girl draws Castle back to one of his many alma maters, where he is giddy to learn that the evidence points to a surprising perpetrator – a teenage telekinetic, throwing he and Beckett into a real-life ‘Carrie.'”
The promo below is basically a regurgitation of what we just said, but we have to say that we really don’t mind that much so long as it continues to have Castle thinking outside of the box. This show also needs a return to some of its more humorous ways after a series of pretty serious episodes in a row. That becomes a little bit tedious, and you do want to have some other things happen in order to mix things up a little bit. This should mark that opportunity and then some.
What do you think about the idea for this episode: Does it sound like vintage “Castle” fun to you? Share below! Also, click here to read our full review of tonight’s episode, and sign up now if you want to get even more updates courtesy of our CarterMatt Newsletter.

the cases in season 6 have really been dull, even the action seem like they are in slow motion. Missed Kate being active, in the thick of danger, fighting(and winning a few of those fight – do you notice how they have her losing all her fights in S6 when she goes up one on one with anyone she loses). They have gone away from establishing that Kate is the leading detective – she’s train with the FBI but she’s shown no impact or growth from that training – too many times Castle comes across as the lead. They need to get back to castle also having a life as a writer. They need to incorporate a little dating or something with this couple, bring their’s and other relationships to life, fun
