‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Casey Sander returns as Bernadette’s dad

Just in case you have not had enough of seeing some various members of Bernadette’s family on “The Big Bang Theory,” the following news is for you: You better prepare to see her dear ol’ dad at some point in the near future.

CBS has confirmed that an upcoming season 7 episode of the show is going to feature Casey Sander once again as the character, which should be interesting for anyone who comes in contact with him. The last time the character appeared, it was for a Thanksgiving episode that may actually be the weakest of the entire season. It didn’t really go anywhere, and the ending seemed to pop up without any sort of prompting at all.

Sander’s story was actually the highlight of that episode in some ways, since we had an opportunity to see him bond with none other than Sheldon. Jim Parsons’ character did have a history of doing some sort of macho traditions thanks to his late father, and the two got a little bit drunk and obnoxious as a result. Meanwhile, Bernadette got mad at her father for alienating Howard, who grew extremely jealous at the result of seeing someone else get the approval that he so badly wanted.

While we are of course happy to see another return from this character, we are still curious to find out some more about the still-unseen parents associated with this show. For example, we still don’t know Penny’s mother, Leonard’s father, and Howard’s father (though he has been a part of a story for the show). There are also some sibling characters that are out there somewhere, and we imagine that they could be being saved for some sort of specific story down the road.
