‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 spoilers: What happens with Tyler, Caroline now?

So far on “The Vampire Diaries” season 5, the theme when it comes to Caroline and Tyler’s relationship has been one thing above all else: Turmoil. We have seen it time and time again, but most of the problems have come courtesy of things that Tyler did. He is the one who has left Candice Accola’s character, either to help out some of his fellow werewolves, or to just avoid the wrath of Klaus. He even guest-starred on “The Originals” this year as he started a long road to try and get revenge.

But now circumstances changed. It’s fair to say that Caroline making the decision to hook up with Klaus is going to be a complete and utter game-changer for almost everything in the future. For more on that, you don’t have to look any further than what executive producer Julie Plec said in a chat with TV Guide:

“Well it is a reconnection of these two who have so many feelings for each other and so much history. She’s been so angry with him for leaving her repeatedly and, ultimately, I think now the tables have turned a little bit because he might have a reason to be angry with her if he finds out what she did.”

Tyler and Caroline’s story is far from over, especially since he now seems to be situated once again in Mystic Falls. You know that this incident is going to be addressed at some point, as well; it is all just a question of when more so than anything else.
