‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 17 preview: What is Spencer doing with Andrew?

Is Spencer Hastings getting set to make a big splash on “Pretty Little Liars” Tuesday night? If nothing else, she may be showing that she is ready to do whatever it takes in order to study better … even if it means staying up all night and getting addicted to some very-familiar “study drugs.”

We are going ahead and assuming that the “drug” that Troian Bellisario’s character is requesting in the sneak peek below is none other than Adderall, given that this is the one that so many students across the country get hooked on year after year. In a way, we understand the pressures that students are under where they feel like the need to use it. They are often forced to stay up for an extensive amount of time, and often not able to really catch a break.

We know that Spencer wants to get into a good school, and cramming is a good way to do that. Sometimes, being able to focus helps significantly with that … but there are drawbacks. We are not going to turn this into a massive PSA, but we really do not feel like this is going to work nearly as well for Spencer in the long-term as she thinks that it will. We’re just surprised mostly that she is willing to go down that path after what happened last time.
