‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: More on Raj’s potential love interest
“The Big Bang Theory” is prepping some pretty great stuff for the month of February, and one of the things that you really should be starting to get excited about already is the arrival of a potential new love interest for Raj. This is the first time since Lucy that he will have a chance at romance, and it is someone who at least has one thing in common with him: A love for dogs.
Previously, you may have already heard a thing or two regarding how this new character is involved in story regarding Raj’s beloved pooch Cinnamon; however, what you may not have known before now is that it is actually Leonard and Penny of all people who ended up getting the animal to the vet in the first place. Just take a look at what executive producer Steven Molaro had to say to TVLine:
“Leonard and Penny are watching Raj’s dog Cinnamon, and they nearly poison her and kill her. So they all spend Valentine’s Day in the vet’s office trying to make sure Cinnamon is OK. And the vet might be a cute young lady [played by Lost’s Tania Raymonde].”
This is going to be a pretty funny story if the premise holds up, and we hope that Raymonde at least gets to stick around for a little bit longer than one episode. Even if Kate Micucci’s character is endgame (which has not been confirmed by any means), at least there is some variety in here that is keeping the love life of Raj somewhat interesting. Also, he destroys the show’s frequent illusion that for geeks, finding love is somewhat easy. Both Howard and Sheldon both found it on the show without a whole lot of effort.
