‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Doctor Who’s’ Alex Kingston to return as Dinah Lance!
Could there be an “Arrow” family reunion in the works soon? Given that we already have the lost member of the Lances in Sarah (Caity Lotz) back, at least to a certain extent, it only makes sense that the original “Girl Who Cried Wolf” would return for some sort of role moving forward.
Sources confirm that Alex Kingston, who will probably be forever known first and foremost for the wonderful role of River Song in “Doctor Who,” is going to return for at least one episode in the role of Laurel and Sarah’s mother Dinah. If you remember back during season 1, there was a pretty memorable story all about the attempts of Dinah to prove that Sarah was still alive. She was quickly ridiculed by many, and this ended up going nowhere in the process.
Since this episode, Dinah has been missing in action, but you had to know that she would eventually turn up again. What we wonder now is since her last appearance, if she has picked up any leads on where the real Sarah has been. She has been missing in action the past few weeks from the actual show itself, mostly because she has gone into hiding as a way to ensure that her father Quentin is safe. She knows that the League of Assassins are after her, and for what they qualify to be a pretty darn good reason in the way she said goodbye to them.
Given that Kingston is somewhat of a sci-fi icon, we will simply say that we will appreciate seeing her on this show as many times as possible.
