ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 10 video: How Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic meet new ‘partner’

Typically when you see a baby arrive on a network television show, that is the cause for a series of massive groans. Usually, children tend to throw off the entire balance of the show, and turns things into a complete and utter mess.

However, the latest “Castle” season 6 video from Monday’s episode looks to buck that trend by introducing a baby to the story that is typically not that permanent. This is a child that is found in a church, and next to a murder victim. But the twist, as learned in the sneak peek, is that this man has no evidence on him at all that this baby belongs to her. This could be a giant red herring designed for the sole purpose of creating mass confusion. Based on what we’ve seen from the show already, this would certainly not surprise us very much.

But it is Rick that decides that it would be better for him to care for the child, mostly due to his own experience in the realm … and possibly his belief that there is no better caretaker for the time being. There are two mysteries here in finding the murderer of the man and the guardian for the child, but Beckett, Ryan, and Esposito are all on the case trying to figure it out. Sooner or later, we figure that they will figure it out and be successful. While adoption would be a major twist for the “Caskett” romance, do we really see it happening right now? Given that there is already a baby storyline with Ryan happening right now, it’d be a shock. We do know that, if nothing else, there will be a talk about what the couple wants to do in their own future when it comes to kids.
