‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Take a look at Alicia’s new office!
Of course, the first thing that easy to notice almost straight out of the gate here is that you have a brief look at Alicia and Cary’s new firm! So how does it look? If there is a word to describe at the moment, we would say this: Rustic. It looks like the sort of place you’d be help captive in by a very psychotic kidnapper. Let this be a sign that even though these two may be thrilled for the next chapter, and that they have their first client, this is not going to be all fun and games. Then again, Alicia probably realized that the moment that Will had that angry confrontation in his office.
So when will this episode actually air this time? Well, let’s just say that you are probably going to be pretty upset if you live in a market showing the San Diego – Miami NFL game. You can pretty much guarantee that the show will not be airing at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which is practically a pipe dream this part of the year. The only thing that we can hope for is that there’s not another situation like we had almost two weeks ago, where this show aired almost at 10:00 p.m. and “The Mentalist” was preempted entirely thanks to a game that ran extremely late. This is just one of the reasons why it’s tough to be a CBS show on Sunday night; then again, this is also why the network may have a little more leniency when it comes to the ratings shows receive at that time. They know that it’s hard to draw solid numbers when you are never airing at the same time, since the last thing viewers want to do in the age of DVRs is to sit around and wait for you.
