ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Emily VanCamp and a traditional love triangle

Who would have imagined that seven episodes into “Revenge” season 3, the biggest thing that Emily Thorne would have to worry about would be an ex from the past of Conrad Grayson? This was quite a surprising revelation, at least in that this is not an evil woman, or someone who is up to no good. She is just someone who got screwed over and is now looking for a second chance; it is the other people involved who have an intention of doing some horrible things.

As the promo for this episode teases, Sarah is going to be targeted by both Charlotte and Victoria Grayson seemingly as they try to push her closer to Jack, knowing that she could keep the wedding between Daniel and Emily from happening somehow. This whole idea seems a little bit far-fetched to us, mostly because you are being pretty reliant on the hope that Daniel has such a tremendous sense of guilt that he is going to go along with this. Then again, they are desperate, and will obviously try almost everything that they can.

We know now that the agenda Nolan has could be pretty simple in that he resents the Graysons potentially for corrupting Patrick. This was a guy that he felt, for whatever reason, was perfect for him. But now thanks to some of the events that have transpired, it is going to be pretty near impossible for the two parties to be together. That has to be painful for him, since he has not exactly opened up his heart to many people over the years. So long as this doesn’t interfere with Emily’s own plan to be murdered on the night of her own wedding by Victoria (or at least appear to be murdered), we are more than happy.
