Love ‘Walking Dead’ or zombies in general? Then get creative and enter our Netflix contest

With Halloween quickly approaching, there is no better time to celebrate the scary things that you love to watch, whether it be “The Walking Dead,” “American Horror Story”, “Hemlock Grove,” or a number of classic horror flicks, and with temperatures dropping along with your desire to actually go out, why not bundle up at home and dive into some of your favorites with some popcorn and a cozy blanket?

We have a treat coming your way this week from Netflix Canada, and that is a free six-month subscription to get you through the coldest time of the year. That means access to the service’s huge library of movies and TV shows right from the comfort of your own home, and from a number of different devices. So in honor of Halloween, and “The Walking Dead” coming back for it’s stellar 4th season, we’ve decided to make the focus of our contest based all around zombies. Here’s the question you have to answer to enter the contest: If you were stuck in a zombie apocalypse, what one thing would you bring with you? We are all about creativity with this, so we want to see your most innovative ideas; no obvious answers like matches, water or a hatchet. To enter, just shoot us an email to [email protected] with the hashtag “#StreamAndScream” (what Netflix is using to celebrate the holiday) in the subject line, along with your answer to our question. We’ll pick the best entry and on Friday, November 1, and we will announce the winner on the site then.
