ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 6 preview: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, and the big scare

Who wants to see a Halloween trick? Beckett seems to be definitely getting that rather than a treat, at least based on the new sneak peek released by ABC this weekend for Monday night’s new “Castle” episode “Get a Clue.”

We should of course note here that this sneak peek unfortunately reveals next to nothing about the real story of the episode, which we knew already to be about some sort of “Da Vinci Code”-like exploration into uncovering some lost artifacts and taking apart some conspiracy theories. While Rick may have said that last week’s story involving time travel was one of his personal favorites, he may change his mind by the time this one is over.

Based on the attached sneak peek, what we also know here is that Nathan Fillion’s character has no problem at all scaring his fiancee (played by Stana Katic) to the utmost degree. This entire ordeal actually reminds us a little bit of “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” that classic Nickelodeon game show where you had to spend some of your time rummaging through rooms trying to find artifacts and avoiding evil-doers. We’re sure that this episode has a much more complex conclusion to it, and it also probably has one that does not involve a giant talking stone head. (This part of it is somewhat of a shame, since we really think that this could be handled in a pretty awesome manner).
