‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Teresa Giudice gives Melissa Gorga surprising gift

Ready for another surprise from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”? Well, you are going to get it on Sunday night’s episode based on what Teresa Giudice has decided to give her sister Melissa Gorga in an effort to make “amends” for some of what they have gone through over the years: Panties … with a peace sign on them. Seriously. Somehow, Teresa lives within a world where this is not a creepy thing to give to a family member.

While we don’t always have the utmost sympathy for Melissa, her comment that this is an exceptionally creepy gift is completely on point. There are probably a million other sort of gifts that Teresa could have given her for her birthday, especially since we think that undergarments are more something that the husband should be in charge of getting for their wives.

“The Housewives are on shaky ground during their final day in the Arizona desert as a high-wire course 30 feet in the air proves to be the ultimate trust test between sister-in-laws Teresa and Melissa. As alliances grow stronger between Teresa and Jacqueline, tensions between Teresa and her brother Joe boil over, forcing Caroline and Kathy to intervene during a heated showdown.”

The only good thing to take from this scene is that Teresa claims that she and Jacqueline Laurita are on the up and up, which gives us hope that maybe this season will end with a little bit of a better aftertaste. Maybe. What seems to happen here for whatever reason is that all progress comes undone at the reunion, and we are then back where we started.
