‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Lea Michele shares first photo from Cory Monteith tribute

Typically, finding out scoop on upcoming “Glee” episodes is not entirely difficult, and there are a variety of reasons for that. For one, many of the scenes are shot either outdoors or at familiar locations, and they can be tracked down by fansites without much of a problem.

However, expect something very different for the upcoming Cory Monteith tribute. Some of the fansites are going with a no-spoilers policy for the episode except for some things shared directly by the cast and crew members, and we are going to be doing the same thing. This is something that is a delicate emotional experience for the cast and crew, so to go on the internet and spill out everything that they are doing to honor their former co-star, who died earlier this summer in Vancouver, feels completely wrong.

Since the image attached here was shared by Lea Michele (Cory’s girlfriend both on and off the show), we have no objection posting the photo on Cartermatt. It’s just another reminder that this episode started shooting some scenes today, and this necklace is similar to one Lea has with “Cory” written on it. It was just another lovely reminder that she had of how she and Cory met while working on the show, and that the feelings for each other were strong.

The only other detail that we can share right now about this episode is that Jane Lynch recently shared is that the script is incredibly moving, and it will not disappoint fans or leave a dry eye in the house when it airs on Thursday, October 10. This is the third episode of the season, so you will have two weeks starting on September 26 to get prepared for it.
