ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: The title for Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion’s big moment

Ever since the finale of “Castle” in the spring, there has been one question on the lips of many fans: Are we going to see Beckett actually say “yes” to Rick’s marriage proposal? The answer is only a little over a month away now.

We’re not going to tell you what that answer is now, mostly because that spoils the entire first episode of the show, but what we will say is rather simple: According to a report from SpoilerTV, this first episode back is going to be entitled “Valkyrie.” That’s definitely an unusual name, given that we haven’t really seen any appearances from Odin on the show recently. Then again, what better thing than to name an episode of a show all about a fiction writer after some of the greatest stories out there in ancient mythology?

This episode, airing on September 23, should serve to answer a series of very important questions:

1. If Beckett and Castle are engaged, still dating, or even (gasp) still together at all.

2. Whether or not Beckett moves to Washington DC, and if she does, how she and Castle are going to make their relationship work.

3. How Castle reacts to a surprising new man entering his life, and it’s all courtesy of his daughter Alexis.

We don’t necessarily think that any of these stories will be over in this premiere episode, but you should be satisfied with what will be revealed.
