‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Damian Lewis, Claire Danes talk story of new episodes

While there was already an opportunity to see some details on “Homeland” season 3 courtesy of the show’s official trailer recently, the video below actually marks a real opportunity to find out a little bit more about the story courtesy of some of the actors.

In the clip released from Showtime, the likes of Damian Lewis, Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin, and more open up about their experiences shooting new episodes of the series this year, and how this is setting the stage for a pretty crazy year.

When it comes to Carrie, Danes explains that what she is going to be wrestling with early this season is a pretty tremendous sense of guilt over what has transpired. She will feel responsible in many ways for the attack, but she will also tell members of Congress that being on her medication was one of the primary reasons for her behavior. Meanwhile, Saul is going to be in a delicate position of his own trying to help lead the new CIA. With him at the helm, the organization could very well excel given his skill set; however, it could take having to throw someone under the bus as a fall guy for everything that went wrong with Brody. That person could be Carrie.

As for what is happening with our accused traitor, it’s going to be a very interesting sight to see. Brody is off in some undisclosed location, and things are about to get very testy for his family back at home as they have to try and sift through the aftermath.
