‘Suits’ season 3, episode 6 preview: First video of flashback episode

While every “Suits” season 3 episode is a major event in itself, there’s no debating in our mind that next week’s installment is in particular one to be excited about. After all, it combines some action in the present, but also some details about the past that help us to figure out how all of these characters ultimately landed in the position that they are in today.

Before we do any analysis here, let’s start off by introducing the official synopsis for the episode (titled “The Other Time”) courtesy of USA:

“Cameron’s dirty tactics on Ava’s case lead Harvey to recall why he left the D.A.’s office. Elsewhere, Mike looks back at what prevented him from earning a degree while Rachel visits law schools.”

This episode brings to us Harvey’s father, and it also introduces us to a time when Harvey made his intentions with Donna rather clear upon meeting her … even if it did not exactly work out in a way in which he’d wanted. We really hope that by going back a full ten years, we will be offered up a sense of clarity and understanding as to why these people act the way that they do. If we have said understanding, then perhaps we will be able to root for them more in the future now that we get their intentions, and what they’ve been through.

Let’s just hope that the quality of the hour does actually meet up with the expectations; we have heard so much about this episode over the course of the past several weeks, and the hope now has to be that it will successfully deliver.
