‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15 spoilers: How Mariska Hargitay’s Benson moves forward
The good news for fans of “Law & Order: SVU” right now is that Olivia Benson is going to be seeing the light of day beyond the season 15 premiere. However, this is not really saying anything on the subject of just how she is going to be moving forward. She was in a pretty traumatic situation where her life was on the line, and even for the toughest of cops, you have to know that this is going to make a pretty significant impact on her.
It is for this reason that executive producer Warren Leight teases per TVLine that when the new season begins, Mariska Hargitay’s character is going to be sent down a long, complicated road where she has to try and focus on what she wants out of her life not only now, but also in the future:
“Olivia will very much be dealing with and reeling from her encounter with Lewis. Her character’s got incredible empathy for others and yet has had a hard time looking out for herself. This is the season where she’s talked the talk to others, but she hasn’t had to walk the walk until now.”
Could Benson eventually find a way through this and somehow get out of the line of fire? This is something that we have wondered about for some time, given that this is the fifteenth season coming up, and even for the toughest of cops, change is inevitable in life. Given that there are seven actors who have clocked more than 200 episodes on this show, though, it must be a pretty nice place to work, and therefore, both Hargitay and Benson may be looking to stay on board for a little while longer.

SVU under Warren Leight has turned into a ratings hound (low down) with no integrity and they will do anything to try to keep SVU alive and their million dollar salaries (and with the case of Mariska Hargitay, $10 million a year) going. The casting of Mike Tyson earlier this year was just a small and pathetic example of how far Leight will go to try to get more viewers (Tyson having a large following), which I am happy to say flopped out. They constantly use ripped from the headlines writing and they have insured SVU will go out on a less than stellar note, for those who followed it for many years before Leight. I stopped watching it this past season under Leight and after the (stunt) casting of Mike Tyson.

I think Olivia knew Lewis was going to be at her apt.
remember her sitting in deep thought before the apt.
sceen? I think she sacrificed herself to get this creep.
Thats why she didn’t go for her gun. They needed
another victim and being the detective she is, she’d
rather it be her another innocent person. Just my
thoughts :-)

No, she is getting tortured at least. They’ve been filming in discreet locations from when Olivia gets kidnapped, There have been leaked pictures from guest stars that Warren Leight made them delete because they were spoilery. This ordeal will NOT end in the ffirst5 minutes.

I don’t believe Olivia is gonna get raped and here’s why. We all learned this guy’s M.O. from the season finale and we know he takes revenge against the women who try to take him down. He’s out of jail and pissed at both female cops. These detectives should be putting two and two together and realizing that Olivia is in danger. I think they will bust down Olivia’s door in the first five minutes to save her and she will be fine. Otherwise if she does get raped, then it shows that the detectives are really dumb. That’s my two cents.

In other words, Olivia is getting raped and tortured. The writers have been joking about this for a few months now. Yes, joking. they don’t get it. This show is in for a rude awakening if they think it can survive this.
