‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: Scott Porter and a late-night filming session

So what better way is there to welcome a new guest star to your show than to take part in an extremely late round of filming? Anyone who works in television clearly knows already that the hours can be excruciating, even in a fictional small town like Bluebell, Alabama, otherwise known as the setting for The CW’s “Hart of Dixie.”

As you may have read recently, we are going to get an opportunity on this coming season to see an appearance from “Chuck” star Ryan McPartlin, who is going to be playing the role of one of the most eligible bachelors in town. So is he going to be romancing any one person in particular?

The news about the Friday / Saturday filming session for McPartlin and the “Hart of Dixie” gang was confirmed in a post on Twitter by both the actor and series regular Scott Porter, who was there along with new series regular Kaitlyn Black and Tim Matheson.

“Hart of Dixie” is currently keeping most season 3 story lines close to the vest, but fans are happy to know that it will be returning October 7. We know that there will be some new faces in town, including a relative of Lavon’s who is played by Josh Cooke of “Dexter” fame, but there’s still no word on how Jaime King’s pregnancy will be handled in terms of the Lemon storyline, or if Zoe is going to focus on something other than romance for a while.
