‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 spoilers: Kat Graham and a massive premiere

It should not come as much of a surprise to anyone at this point that “The Vampire Diaries” season 5 is going to start off big. This is what every season of the show has done in the past, and while there are a few minutes typically spent introducing a new idea or a character, it doesn’t prohibit the characters from really pushing forward, and giving fans a reason to stay tuned following the first episode or two of the season.

For more on this very subject, and what you can expect from the show starting back right away, you really do not have to look any further than one Kat Graham. Speaking to KSiteTV, the actress made it clear that the first episode back will be a dive straight into drama, and the scope of the episode could be larger than even what you would expect now:

“The first episode back has been a lot of work for all of us. We kind of just jumped right back in, which is always the thing when we start a new season. The first episode back is massive in nature!”

We find it especially interesting that it would be Graham of all people to say that, given that her story is in one of the more interesting positions right now. The only person that she can communicate with is Jeremy thanks to him being able to see the dead. To make matters even crazier, nobody even knows that she is no longer among the living except for him.
