‘White Collar’ season 5 spoilers: Matt Bomer’s next go-around to only be 13 episodes

A shorter season awaits -For those of you who love your USA series to be a little bit more stuffed when it comes to the overall episode count, we imagine that you may find this news to be a little bit disappointing: “White Collar” is not going to last nearly as long this time around. However, it will still have the same number of total episodes as hit shows like “Sons of Anarchy,” or “Justified.”

The news about the series’ 13-episode order for season 5 was confirmed by Ted Linhart on Twitter, citing the demands of showrunner Jeff Eastin more so than star Matt Bomer, who does have a busy schedule in between film and some other projects:

“To produce the best season of White Collar USA will do 13 eps this season only, so the showrunner’s sked can accommodate both WC & Graceland”

This is more evidence that unlike many other showrunners who tend to delegate more, Eastin is very hands-on when it comes to ensuring that he is frequently involved with almost every single aspect of his series. While this is in so many ways a blessing, there are obviously some downsides that come along with it just in terms of him only having so many hours in a day.

The new season of “White Collar” sadly does not have a premiere date just yet … even though we know for sure that “fall” is going to be a part of it.

What do you think about the shortened order for “White Collar” this go-around? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you do want to read some more news when it comes to the series, our advice is to just head on over to the link here. Thanks to SpoilerTV for the find here.
