‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus on return to set (video)
For anyone who appreciates “The Walking Dead,” the characters are a big reason why. Yes, this is a show about zombies, and the crazy ways in which you kill them in order to survive, but at the end of the day, you love this show for its take on Daryl, Rick, and some of the other characters who are trying to balance out their own lives with the impending threat of death constantly around them.
Just how excited should you be for October 13 to roll around? Based on what Andrew Lincoln says in the brand-new video released by AMC today, you have quite a bit to look forward to:
“The scripts this season are beyond great. They are deeper and darker … I don’t know how these guys in the writers’ room [do it], but they are getting bigger and bigger and bigger.”
Norman Reedus, meanwhile, refers to the show as a “dream job,” and Danai Gurira says that being back on set is in many ways akin to a family coming back together. There are also some major teasers thrown in here, as well: There are suggestions from Robert Kirkman that there will be all sorts of new elements thrown in there, Andrew Lincoln teases some major changes to the prison that make it feel less like a prison, and Lauren Cohan reveals that Steven Yeun says that Glenn is going to try and manage everything great that he has in his life, which of course includes Maggie.
