‘Under the Dome’ episode 6 preview: First look at ‘The Endless Thirst’
Are you excited for the road ahead on “Under the Dome”? For this upcoming episode, what we are perhaps most intrigued at (for whatever reason) is the opportunity to actually get an answer to something we have been curious about for some time: What in the world happens with the water in this town?
It’s been that little bugaboo in our brain since the very beginning, being that it doesn’t seem altogether feasible for them to be able to go out and suddenly just extract a ton of water from elsewhere when they actually can’t. Luckily, next week we are going to have an answer to this with an hour appropriately-titled “The Endless Thirst.”
Want more scoop? Well, the promo below is going to be useful as most of the ideas that we have seen so far to actually get through the dome to the other side have failed. It mostly just reminds you that CBS loves the ratings that this show is bringing to the table right now, though we have no clue where the network is getting its 40 million viewers from, given that only close to half of that watched the premiere with DVR figures included. (We highly doubt that 20 million people are tuning in online.)
On this occasion, the synopsis below really is going to be your guise for the story much more than anything else:
“When the town begins to run low on water, the residents of Chester’s Mill begin to fight for the remaining resources. Meanwhile, Julia discovers a strange connection that two of the town’s residents have with the Dome.”
Have theories? Thoughts? Are you happy with the way that Stephen King’s book is being translated for TV? We want to hear all of it below! If you do want to also read our full review for this week’s episode, you can do so here.
