‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Summer Glau makes first appearance in Comic-Con trailer
It was not that long ago that we first heard the news that Summer Glau was going to be joining the “Arrow” cast for a pretty substantial guest arc, where she would be playing a powerful businesswoman with an eye for potentially taking over Queen Consolidated; and now, we have our first look at the actress in video form.
If you look below, you will be able to see Glau briefly exchange a few words with Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen, and it is really just the tip of the iceberg in many ways when it comes to this show. There is really still so much else worth looking forward to in this coming season, and it comes in a variety of forms. For one, Felicity (who is apparently more keen to wearing her hair down these days) has made the move to redesign that hideout for Oliver, and it now looks like something much more fitting of a hero. Also, Laurel has a new job, and it is one that seems to be share something rather important with ehr father: Vengeance against the Hood. Rather than trying to help this man, she will now be going after him.
Even in speaking of the name “The Hood,” it appears as though Oliver does not even want to go by that name anymore. What does he prefer instead? Apparently, it is something that perfectly goes along with the name of the show.
What do you think about this sizzle real, and did it actually do a good enough job at getting you excited for October 9 to roll around? How amazing was that seeing Summer Glau in this epic trailer for Arrow season 2. Hopefully this role is going to be a stepping stone to her career. I’d love to see her reach new audiences in non-genre tv shows/movies.
Meanwhile, I can’t wait to watch Arrow season 2, premiering on Wednesday, October 9 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
