‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Emily Bett Rickards talks ‘good chance’ for Oliver, Felicity

OliverFor those of you who ship Oliver and Felicity hard on “Arrow,” take a page from the book of Journey and don’t stop believing. Why? It is looking at least like there is a possibility that this pairing could happen at some point in the future, at least if some of the fans ultimately have their way.

While the show’s official Comic-Con panel has yet to happen, Emily Bett Rickards was a part of the TV Guide Fan Favorites panel last night, and reportedly gave a little bit of hope to those who actually want to see the hero and the computer geek pair up in a way that is just crime-fighting buddies:

“I think there’s a good chance for it … If you guys want it there’s an even better chance”

Do we want to see this happen? For sure, but there is also a differentiation that needs to be made between something that we want to see happen, and something that absolutely should happen. There is always a chance that Oliver and Felicity getting together changes things, or destroys the illusion that many fans have in their minds for the two characters. Therefore, it ultimately could go either way with these two: We want to see it, but at the same time we’re nervous about it.

Stay tuned all weekend long, as we’re hearing that there is going to be some big announcements coming up courtesy of the show’s Comic-Con panel this weekend.
