NBC’s ‘Community’ season 5: Who’s heading to the Disney Channel?
While we as viewers may not get too much joy out of the fact that both this past and the current seasons of “Community” are running only 13 episodes long, there are some pretty-clear benefits when it comes to some of the actors on the show. For one, this allows them the opportunity to go and work on some other projects that they may not otherwise have as much time to do.
However, “Shake It Up!” will clearly benefit from this, given that Sunday night’s new episode is going to have an appearance from Yvette Nicole Brown. In a video over at Entertainment Weekly, you can see the actress alongside the Disney Channel show’s star Bella Thorne, playing the character of Madame Tiffany, a popular psychic. The problem for the show occurs when Rocky (“Dancing with the Stars” alum Zendaya) tries to use a little something known as science and observation to prove that the character is not exactly being altogether truthful.
This is hardly the first time that Brown has been associated with television for children and teens, as she also was a recurring presence on Nickelodeon’s “Drake and Josh” for years before making her debut as Shirley on the NBC hit. She and many other actors are going to be back to work on “Community” soon for their thirteen episodes, which are their first with Dan Harmon as showrunner since season 3.
Unfortunately, there is still one other change out there that many of you have likely heard about already: That there will not be as many appearances this year from Donald Glover as Troy. Want to read more on that? For scoop and reaction from Harmon himself, just be sure to visit the link here.
