Silo season 4 premiere date: An early update

We know that there are still a few episodes to go in Silo season 3 but at the same time, why not look towards season 4?

For those who are not aware as of right now, filming for the final chapter of the Rebecca Ferguson drama has already completed. By virtue of that, we really just have to wait and see what Apple TV decides when it comes to the long-term future here. There may still be post-production that needs to be done and beyond that, the streaming service almost certainly does not want there to be two seasons of the show airing the same year. That is not the best for business, and it also makes it harder when it comes to awards consideration.

Thanks to San Diego Comic-Con this weekend (per Collider), we do now know that the plan for the fourth season here is for it to launch around the same window next summer to when we are getting season 3 this year. This makes sense for the sake of continuity, and it certainly gives us a whole lot more to look forward to.

Now as for what the story could be for the fourth season, that is what still remains a mystery at this point. After all, we are actively seeing when it comes to the big Bernard story at this point that the show has almost no issue deviating heavily from the source material. While it could still stick to some of the lore and overall themes, there may be a few more unexpected twists and turns before the very end. Or, at the very least, this is some of what we hope.
