The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3: Emily Kinney to play Beth

Out of everything that could happen on The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3, the AMC show has already delivered what may be its biggest surprise. After all, Emily Kinney is going to be back as Beth for the first time in years!

So how in the world does this happen? Well, according to Entertainment Weekly, you are going to have a chance to see her in what is fundamentally going to be an alternate reality. Given how many shows have played around with this concept over the years, should we really be shocked that this is going to be the case here? We just hope that it serves as both a treat and a celebration of the franchise at the same time. We do think most people are aware of the fact that this is not anywhere near as popular a universe as it once was, so you have to enjoy it through whatever limited time is left here.

The third season of The Walking Dead: Dead City is slated to air on the aforementioned cable network this weekend and if you want to know more about what is to come, all we can say is that there could be a different dynamic between Maggie and Negan than what we have seen before. While we certainly do not think that they are going to be the best of friends, this is a series that does have to evolve so that we are not just seeing the same exact thing one year after the next.

For those wondering, it has also been confirmed that the final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is going to be coming out at some point in 2027. Hopefully, there will be more updates on that in due time.
