Daredevil: Born Again season 3 premiere date hopes as filming wraps

We do consider ourselves to be really lucky at this point to know that Daredevil: Born Again season 3 is another step closer to actually being out in the world.

In a new post on Twitter, Vincent D’Onofrio himself confirmed that production on the latest batch of episodes has been concluded. That means that moving forward, we are in a spot where just about everything can shift over to post-production and making certain that these stories are as polished and prepared as possible. This does take a good bit of time, and that is why it is a little bit bonkers to even suggest that they could be done before we get to the end of the year.

If there is good news to share at this point, it is simply that Disney does clearly want to make Daredevil: Born Again a yearly thing; in other words, they have every reason possible to ensure that new episodes are out either in the spring or summer of next year. It makes the world feel more continuous, especially since a lot of streaming shows have suffered mightily from there being super-long waits thrown right into the middle of them.

As for what to expect across season 3…

While there are certainly some huge comic-book inspired narratives to look out for, there is no doubt that for fans of the Netflix – Defenders universe, there is going to be a lot of joy that comes from seeing characters like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage all around each other. This means that we’re going to get some nostalgia for sure but beyond that, there are some legitimately good reasons to think that there is a great reason why they will be united.
