Lucky season 1 episode 4 spoilers: Dealing with betrayl

Next week Apple TV is going to bring you Lucky season 1 episode 4 — so what more can we say about the story?

Well, first and foremost, we do tend to think that the title character knows already that life is hard — you do not get into this line of work anticipating anything otherwise. The problem is that even in the midst of it, you do still like to think that there are people you can trust — even though that is not actually the case. We imagine that there are more twists coming but in the interim, Lucky may have to deal with an unexpected challenge that is right in front of her.

As Lucky confronts betrayal, old grudges take a back seat to a deadly chase.

Ultimately, we tend to think that from an action point of view, this is going to be one of the most heart-pounding ones of the season — though it cannot take a back seat to character development. We recognize that this show is trying to be cinematic in a way that is befitting of a feature film, but you have to also keep that television aspect as well — and we know that it can be a pretty difficult balancing act.

What we can at least say is that viewers for the show are turning up to a reasonable degree — the series has managed to turn up in the top five over at Apple TV over the course of the past several days, and that should give almost everyone a measure of confidence. This is being billed as a limited series but at the same time, who knows if that is going to stick?
