Pluribus season 2 premiere date: A July 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are are going to be hearing more about Pluribus season 2 between now and the end of July? We do think that after months of being off the air, we have reached the point where there is a real demand for something more.

First and foremost here, we should kick off this piece by simply noting that we would love nothing more than to have the Rhea Seehorn drama back in the near future. Unfortunately, here is where we also must lament in the fact that filming has yet to start! Vince Gilligan and the writing staff have been working on the show for months and while we do know they are inching closer, that doesn’t mean that the scripts are ready just yet. Remember that Vince is one of those showrunners who wants to have everything polished and perfect as much as possible before filming kicks off; that makes the rest of the process easier!

So based on where things stand right now, our general feeling is that we are going to be lucky to see the show return moving into the second half of 2027, with a similar window to what we got with season 1 reasonably expected. It could always change depending on a number of variables, including what Apple TV wants since they are mostly in the driver’s seat for all of this.

In the end, the only thing we can say is that for December, expect for most things to be a ghost town. We would be legitimately surprised in the event that there was anything bordering on substantial news, as everyone may prefer to keep the cards close to the vest for now.
