Elle season 2 premiere date hopes over at Prime Video

Following the arrival of season 1 over at Prime Video, what more can we say regarding an Elle season 2? Is more 100% coming?

Well, without delay let’s just begin here by noting that 100%, you are going to have a chance to see another chapter of the Legally Blonde prequel series. Not only that, but filming has already wrapped up! Clearly the Amazon-owned streaming service was fine to bank big on this project, thinking that this is one that could end up sticking around for a rather large amount of time.

If you have not heard much about the specifics for the show, here is how Prime Video describes it:

In Season One, Elle follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film.

As for when we can see season 2…

From where we stand, it is our feeling that we are going to get the show back next summer. There is no pressure for anyone involved to rush along the next chapter, but we do think there is value in making this at least an annual release. This is what was the pattern for TV once upon a time, so why not go ahead and buy into it now?

For anything interested about where things are going in regards to the story here, showrunner Laura Kittrell indicates to Deadline that season 2 is not going to have a huge time jump or anything like it:

“We pick up in Season 2 right after Season 1 ends. So the cliffhangers that we’ve left you with in Season 1, you will not have to wait long to see how those are going to be resolved.”
