MobLand season 3: Tom Hardy now set to return
As though there was still any uncertainty regarding the future of Tom Hardy on MobLand, let’s just say that we now have clarity.
According to a new report from Deadline, the actor will be coming back in a full-time capacity provided the Paramount+ series ends up being renewed. Even though nothing is confirmed regarding a season 3 yet, at the same time we do tend to think that the show is going to be coming back for more. You not only have the return of Hardy, but we tend to think that we are going to be getting more of Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan at the same time.

In the end, we are not too surprised that after all the rumors and speculation regarding Hardy’s future, everyone involved managed to find a way to work things out. It honestly benefits everyone too much for this to go in any other direction. Remember for a moment here that the first season was an enormous hit and for Paramount, they need shows like this that are not just under the umbrella of executive producer Taylor Sheridan. Remember that eventually he is going to leave for a new deal over at NBCUniversal, meaning that the streaming service is going to find a way to pivot.
As for when we are going to see the second season premiere…
Our hope is that it arrives at some point moving into late summer or early fall and if that is the case, an announcement is likely coming sooner rather than later. Hopefully soon after we get a premiere-date announcement, we are going to get a teaser that better sets the stage here for what is coming up.
