Chicago PD season 14 premiere date at NBC, what it means

If you have found yourselves very much eager to get a Chicago PD season 14 premiere date over at NBC, we absolutely understand! There is so much to be excited about regarding the future of the show, including challenging cases or updates to some of the main players’ personal lives.

Thankfully, this week the network did something that honestly caught us by surprise, and that was reveal a start date for the next chapter a little earlier than we anticipated. It has now been confirmed that you will see the members of Intelligence return with new stories moving into Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. This is the same timeslot that we have seen in the past and beyond just that, it will be following both of the other two shows in Chicago Med and Chicago Fire. We do not think there is going to be some insane desire for anyone to radically change the format of these shows now that they are all well over a decade into their runs.

So when are we going to hear something more regarding the next chapter of each? As great as it would be to have even a tiny bit of insight over the next week or so, that is unlikely to happen. We do anticipate that there could be casting news revealed between now and the fall but beyond that, it may not be until August or September before we have some sort of real promo for what is coming up. Why would NBC push things forward at a faster point than what they’ve historically done over the years?

Let’s just hope that in between the drama and the character development, the series continues to give us almost everything we could want and then some.
